Job Description
WithersRavenel is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex modeling projects and guide long-term planning for public utilities and municipalities. This hybrid role is based out of the Cary, North Carolina office and involves client collaboration, team leadership, and driving data-driven innovation in water and wastewater infrastructure. The role offers ownership, professional development, and a culture focused on collaboration and client success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- 10+ years of engineering/industry experience with demonstrated team management experience
- Self-motivated, engaged, team-oriented, strategic thinking with minimal supervision
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Experience with business and strategic planning processes
- Knowledge of contracts, accounting principles, budgeting and forecasting
- Proven track record of mentoring and coaching
- Proven track record of developing existing and new client relationships
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (WaterGEMS, WaterCAD, SewerGEMS, SewerCAD, PCSWM), ArcGIS, and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Familiarity with common statistical programming languages (R or Python) preferred
