Job Description
Wood is seeking a Lead Piping Engineer to join its expanding offshore brownfield engineering business in Metairie, LA and New Orleans. This role involves managing mechanical and piping engineering for offshore facilities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring efficient project execution for clients across renewable and emerging energy sectors. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of offshore facilities and a proactive approach to project management.
Requirements
- Lead and oversee all mechanical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop engineering design specifications, calculations, and drawings for offshore brownfield asset retirement.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Interface with clients, regulatory agencies, and third-party contractors.
