Job Description
Wood is seeking a Senior Electrical Transmission Tower Design Engineer to join their Transmission and Distribution team. The role involves leading OHL structural / tower engineering deliverables, overseeing design outputs, and fostering staff development, with preference given to those who can work from their Glasgow or Horsham offices. The company focuses on providing engineering and construction services to the UK transmission and distribution sector, with a secure workstream for years to come.
Requirements
- Lead approval activities on OHL structural / tower engineering deliverables.
- Oversee Transmission Tower structural assessment and design.
- Maintain close collaboration with the UK Principal Structural Engineer and the Head of Engineering.
