Job Description
Woodlands Senior Living is seeking a Personal Support Specialist (PSS) to assist residents with daily living activities, providing compassionate care and supporting their families. They offer a supportive workplace with opportunities for growth and career advancement in a family-owned, accredited senior living organization in Maine. The position is flexible with shift times and offers a sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, etc.)
- Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (using telephone, light housekeeping, meal preparation/service, etc.)
- Respond to resident call lights promptly
- Accurately document care provisions or changes in resident statuses.
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must commit to obtaining PSS certification within 120 days of hire
- Must provide proof of immunization/immunity to MMR, Varicella and Influenza
