Job Description
WOODWAY USA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead new product development from concept to completion. This role focuses on maintaining existing products, troubleshooting, and providing technical support. The engineer will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Engineering, contributing to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction within the fitness industry. They are located in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Requirements
- Lead the design, development, and testing of analog, digital, and embedded control systems.
- Design and layout custom PCBs using electrical CAD software.
- Develop and maintain embedded firmware for microcontrollers.
- Design/manage Windows/Linux/Android-based software applications for product integration.
- Ensure compliance with UL, CSA, and CE certifications for products.
- Collaborate with vendors to source and validate new components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production and field service issues.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for electronic circuits and PCBs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
