Church Mobilizer - 2025403

World Relief is seeking a passionate and compassionate Church Mobilizer to partner with churches across Western New York, helping them align their missions with World Relief's vision and mission. This limited-term, grant-funded position focuses on church engagement and mobilization, serving refugees and immigrants within a Western NY area. The role involves developing relationships with pastors, managing church portfolios, and supporting their ministries.

Requirements

• Mature and personal Christian faith
• Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
• Desire to serve and empower the Church
• Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs
• Deep love for the Church
• Willingness to work with a wide variety of church denominations and theological positions
• Prior knowledge and relationships with Rochester area churches
• Demonstrated skillset in decision making
• Current driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work two weekend days/month, primarily during church services, and one evening/week for meetings/trainings primarily with church partners
• Preferred Qualifications: MDiv or related degree, ordination in a locally represented denomination, strong administrative skills, and experience with Microsoft platforms.
