Job Description
We are seeking an Agri-Climate Business Development Officer to drive the successful implementation of innovative agricultural loan products. The ideal candidate will have experience in agri-climate products design and small farmers engagement, and will be responsible for product rollout and implementation, loan disbursement, client training and engagement, monitoring and reporting, and climate-smart agriculture integration.
Requirements
- Agricultural Extension and/or Business-related course from a recognized College/University
- At least 3 years' experience in Agri-climate products design and small farmers engagement in a microfinance or financial institution
- Strong product knowledge, sales, negotiation, partnerships, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
