Job Description
Worth AI is seeking a highly skilled Underwriter to join their expanding Risk & Compliance team. This role focuses on assessing, managing, and leveraging credit and risk data in the UK, ensuring adherence to UK regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will evaluate client applications and conduct risk assessments, contributing to a strong compliance framework.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related discipline
- 3–5+ years of underwriting, risk, or compliance experience in UK financial services, banking, or fintech
- Strong knowledge of UK AML, KYC, and KYB frameworks, including FCA requirements
- Experience in credit risk assessment, fraud detection, and financial statement analysis
- Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with compliance and underwriting platforms
- Professional certifications preferred
