Safety Systems Engineer, Driverless e-Palette (Nihonbashi)

Woven by Toyota is seeking a Safety Systems Engineer to join their team, working on developing autonomous vehicles for Mobility as a Service (MaaS) applications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for safety and experience in safety-critical automotive or aerospace systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years in safety-critical automotive, aerospace, or robotics systems in a production environment
• Practical proficiency in Python for safety-related data analysis, simulation scripting, automated test/report generation, and designing evaluation methods for system validation
• In-depth working experience with ISO 26262 and familiarity with SOTIF (ISO 21448) in real-world projects
• Strong cross-functional communication and documentation skills to convey technical issues precisely and factually
