Application Developer

WSP is seeking an Application Developer to join the VDI Web Team in Buffalo, NY. The successful candidate will support a variety of consulting projects, collaborating closely with colleagues and clients within a dynamic and adaptable work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or related field
• 3-5 years custom development experience with ASP.NET/C# with a strong focus on UI/UX experience
• Experience in front-end frameworks (React preferred, or Vue, Angular, Blazor), HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS3, and JSON
• Working knowledge in front-end architecture, performance optimization, and cross-browser testing
• Working knowledge in one or more database technologies (Transact-SQL with SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
• Working knowledge with geospatial tools (Mapbox, Google Maps, or ArcGIS)
• Working knowledge in Microsoft platforms, frameworks, and tools
• Working knowledge in DevOps / Git environment for version control
• Working knowledge of AWS and Azure Cloud Environments
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
