We are seeking an Energy & Utilities Infrastructure Engineer - Associate/Associate Director to join our Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading utility projects, providing senior point of contact for clients, driving business growth, and mentoring our growing team.
Requirements
- Chartered Engineer or open/working towards Chartered Engineer status
- Civil Engineering Degree, or similar equivalent qualification
- Experience delivering utility connections, diversions and utility infrastructure strategies for small, medium and large schemes in the UK
- Rounded understanding of Electricity, Gas, Water, and Telecommunications networks, in relation to new development activities
- Experience of Multi-Utility / iDNO (independent Distribution Network Operators) / ICP (Independent Connection Provider) and commercial risk/opportunities
- Ability to develop utility demand calculations based on the needs of a development
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage and work on multiple projects concurrently and effectively organise your time and your project teams between them
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with co-professionals and deliver high quality reports
- Experience in directing BIM teams (AutoCAD / Civils 3D / Revit etc) in their production of quality project models and design outputs
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
