Job Description
The Intermediate Groundwater Modeller will provide numerical modelling support for various hydrogeological, environmental, and engineering investigations. The role involves working with interdisciplinary project teams, supporting the development and implementation of numerical groundwater flow models, and providing technical services related to mining and infrastructure-related projects.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Hydrogeology, Environmental/Earth Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or similar program
- 5-10 years of job experience and registration as either a Geoscientist or Engineer in the Province of Ontario
- Experience with hydrogeological analysis and numerical modelling tools/approaches in groundwater
- Experience with MODFLOW, FEFLOW, HydroGeoSphere, etc.
- Experience using Python and SQL for data analysis
- Unrestricted full Class G Driver's License (or equivalent) that is valid in the province of Ontario
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with the MS Office suite of products
- Excellent time management, organization, communication, problem-solving, writing, and people skills
