Job Description
WSP is seeking a Lead Water Resources Engineer for their Tempe, AZ team. This role involves collaborating with teams across mining, government, transportation, and other sectors to support hydraulics and hydrology projects. The position requires leading technical staff, managing projects, and developing business development skills, with a strong emphasis on quality and compliance.
Requirements
- BS in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering or related engineering degree
- Minimum 10 years + of hydrology / hydraulics and water resources experience
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Project management experience
- Experience leading proposal management
- Successful business development and client management
- Strong technical skills regarding hydrologic and hydraulic modelling approaches
- Familiarity with the National Flood Insurance Program
- Pass background check
- Satisfactory driving record
