Principal Architectural Technician

Manage technical design information for projects, prepare design information in BIM environment, review and lead coordination of design information, and lead projects/packges within transport projects.

Requirements

• Manage delivery of technical design information
• Prepare design information in BIM environment
• Review and QC design information
• Identify potential design issues and come up with solutions
• Monitor design information for health and safety risks
• Lead coordination of design information with other specialist disciplines
• Excellent understanding of statutory requirements for compliance
• Working knowledge of UK building regulations and international standards
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software
• Experience in rail or aviation projects
• Leadership skills to lead projects/packges
