Senior BIM Technician - Structures

The Senior BIM Technician - Structures will assist project establishment by agreeing and contributing towards a project inception review, project planning documents, drawing strategy, scales and size of drawings along with drawing numbering to company standards and suggesting methods of drawing production to ensure efficient methods of working are being practiced. The candidate will also develop general arrangement, section and detail drawings from Engineer’s sketches and other Design Team members drawings and details, and develop these into co-ordinated building models, drawings and details.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and to be able to use all the standard functions on the software and to coach junior staff in its use.
• Experience working within a Common Data Environment (CDE) for rejecting and approving documents
• Knowledge of setting up project template files
• Knowledge of setting up custom worksets
• Knowledge of Revit Phasing
• Knowledge of Uniclass 2015
• Familiarity with PAS1192 and BS1192 series of standards
• Use of AutoCAD, BIM360 and Navisworks
• Use of Microsoft /Office 365 and MS Teams
