Senior Civil Airfield Engineer - Aviation

WSP is looking for a Senior Airfield Civil Engineer to help deliver UK and international engineering projects. The role will require good knowledge and understanding of multi-disciplinary project delivery. Opportunities for international travel and professional development are available.

Requirements

• University degree in civil engineering, construction, design, or related discipline
• Chartered or Incorporated Status (MICE, MCIHT, or equivalent) or equivalent demonstrable experience
• Experience of delivering large, technically complex multi-disciplinary airfield civil engineering projects
• Experience and knowledge of international airfield design standards such as ICAO, CAA, EASA, and FAA
• Knowledge and experience of using Civil 3D and relevant other airfield engineering design software packages such as AviPlan, SkySafe, and FAARFIELD
• Knowledge and understanding of construction contracts (i.e. NEC) and processes
• Excellent written, verbal communication skills with an aptitude to presenting technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work independently and make technical engineering decisions
• Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with colleagues
