Senior Structural Engineer

WSP is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for our Tampa, FL office. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance and guidance for multi-site/phase due diligence, investigation, remediation, improvement, and/or construction of building and infrastructure projects. The role involves conducting research, design, concept development, planning, and construction of load-bearing structures, ensuring quality and adherence to industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• 5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering discipline
• Engineer in Training Certification
• Proficient knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices
• Experience with design, construction management, and rehabilitation projects
• Project management experience with small to mid-level projects
• Ability to make technical computations and calculations
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly capable self-leadership and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and provide guidance to junior team members
