WSP is seeking a Senior Water & Wastewater Engineer to join the Water & Wastewater group in Edmonton and Calgary. The ideal candidate will have 10-20 years of experience in designing and managing municipal infrastructure projects, and be eligible to apply for Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licence in Canada.
Requirements
- Hold a degree in civil, process, mechanical engineering, or environmental
- 10–20 years of relevant industry experience
- Familiar with municipal and provincial approval processes, permitting, and Alberta environmental standards and guidelines
- Proficient at industry-standard design and modelling software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to deliver innovative solutions under tight deadlines
- Exceptional organizational skills, adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering high-quality results within fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient in MS Office and MS Project, supporting effective project documentation, communication, and leadership across all project phases
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Be resourceful, self-motivated and proactive
