Job Description
WSP's ERI sector is seeking a Structural Drafter/Designer to support the growth of their Industrial and Resources group. This position involves working on heavy industrial manufacturing projects in the Greater Toronto/Hamilton area and Golden Horseshoe, applying structural drafting expertise and contributing to various construction and rehabilitation projects. The role offers flexibility, a collaborative culture, and opportunities for career development.
Requirements
- College degree/diploma in civil engineering technology, structural engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant experience in structural drafting and design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT programs
- Demonstrated experience with 2D and 3D modelling
- Strong understanding of steel and concrete foundations
- Experience within a large project and multi-disciplinary EPCM environment
- An understanding of and experience with Ontario and National Building Codes and relevant standards
- A positive attitude
