Job Description
This role involves the fabrication and installation of sheet metal duct, ensuring it meets specifications and adhering to safety guidelines. The position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and utilizes various skillsets including reading blueprints, lifting, and outdoor work.
Requirements
- Prepare, fabricate and install sheet metal duct to specifications
- Install hangers, supports, according to plans or shop drawings
- Hoist loads using slings, chains, shackles, hooks, cables, and other rigging equipment
- Read and interpret project drawings and specifications
- Lay out of work including hanger locations, duct routes, and equipment pads/curbs
- Install rectangular, spiral and duct board with occasional insulate duct work
- Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks
- Work outside in the elements including but not limited to the heat, cold, rain, and wind
- OSHA 10-hour card
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
