xAI is seeking an exceptional Backend Software Engineer to join the Monetization Team, driving revenue through subscriptions, growth, and creator monetization. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable systems for high-impact platforms like X Premium and Verified Organizations. The company prioritizes hands-on work, initiative, and strong communication skills.
Requirements
- 5+ years in backend or systems engineering
- Experience building systems with high concurrency, fault tolerance, and uptime
- Strong communicator and revenue-minded
- Familiarity with fintech, social platforms, or startups (bonus)
