Job Description
xAI is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join their Applied Safety team, building and maintaining advanced systems to ensure compliance with X’s Terms of Service and safeguard users. The role focuses on architecting scalable, distributed systems to process high-scale event data, drive innovation in safety, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced, 0-to-1 environments and are passionate about delivering impactful results.
Requirements
- Develop and maintain backend and data systems for abuse detection, spam remediation, and child safety.
- Architect scalable distributed systems to process thousands of events per second.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to solve safety challenges.
- Write clean, efficient code in Scala and Go.
- Operate in a 0-to-1 environment and are eager to innovate.
