Job Description
Xaira Therapeutics is seeking a Senior or Principal Scientist to lead the development of AI-driven tools for drug discovery and development. The role focuses on designing and optimizing protein expression systems, performing downstream processing, and providing technical leadership on complex projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in protein engineering and experience in biophysics and molecular biology.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of biophysics and protein-protein interactions.
- Experience in cloning and expression techniques for therapeutic proteins.
- Experience in high throughput expression and purification.
- Demonstrated expertise in protein purification and characterization.
- Experience in protein expression processes, from 96-well plate formats to scales of up to 10-liter bioreactors.
- Leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present scientific data.
- Strong organizational skills.
