Mechanical Field Engineer (Gas/Steam Turbine) (Staff, Senior or Principal)

We are looking for a Mechanical Field Engineer to join our team at Xcel Energy. The successful candidate will be responsible for fleet-wide system ownership for steam and combustion turbine systems, performing technical analysis, and troubleshooting. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in office and 2 days remote. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of energy-related products and services to our customers across eight Western and Midwestern states.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET accredited, mechanical engineering degree preferred
• 2+ years relevant engineering experience for staff engineer level, 5+ years for senior engineer level, and 9+ years for principal engineer level
• EIT/FE (Engineer in Training/Fundamentals of Engineering) for staff and senior engineer levels, PE (Professional Engineer) registration required for principal engineer level
