Job Description
Xebia is seeking a Senior Node.js Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience as a Backend developer, 4+ years of experience with Node.js, and 3+ years of experience with TypeScript. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript, as well as collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a Backend developer
- 4+ years of experience with Node.js
- 3+ years of experience with TypeScript
- experience with architecting and implementing RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, or microservices to support various applications
- knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including monitoring/logging systems like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
- experience in up-skilling engineering teams through practices such as pair programming and facilitating technical knowledge-sharing sessions and workshops
- experience with database design and management using PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar
- proficiency with AWS and containerization tools Docker and Kubernetes
