Regional Medical Affairs Director - Gulf Coast

The Regional Medical Affairs Director - Gulf Coast will be a field-based member of a US Regional Medical Affairs organization, responsible for developing and enhancing relationships with key thought-leaders and healthcare stakeholders. The role focuses on medical & scientific engagement, addressing customer medical & scientific informational needs, and collaborating on medical, education, clinical research, and real-world experiences. This position requires a candidate in Houston, TX.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in a related discipline (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP) strongly preferred
• Less than 2 years of experience (2+ years with previous Field Medical/Medical Affairs pharmaceutical experience);
• Active clinical care, research, or academia experience preferred
• Clear understanding of regional medical practice, clinical decision-making, and healthcare systems
• Demonstrated understanding of clinical research trial design and execution
• Extensive knowledge of Endocrinology
• Competency in customer service, teamwork, communication, and presentation skills
• Working conditions may involve periodic evening and weekend work, and occasional overnight travel
