Job Description
The YMCA is seeking a Lifeguard to maintain safe swimming conditions in the pool and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include surveillance of the pool area, adherence to safety rules, performing chemical testing, and maintaining cleanliness. The role also requires maintaining positive relationships with members and staff. Lifeguard certification is encouraged but not required.
Requirements
- Current YMCA, American Red Cross, or equivalent accepted by the Bathing Code Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.
- Ability to maintain certification-level of physical and mental readiness.
- Demonstrate lifeguard skills in accordance with YMCA standards.
