Job Description
Yapily is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to join their in-house legal team in London, England. This role offers early career exposure within a dynamic fintech fintech environment and involves supporting their commercial, product, compliance, and regulatory teams. The position requires a commercial-minded and solutions-focused lawyer who thrives in a fast-paced payments and open banking environment.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (0-2 PQE)
- Training contract or experience in commercial and/or corporate law
- Demonstrated experience in contract drafting and negotiation
- Strong understanding of general commercial law principles
- Basic understanding of UK data protection law (GDPR/UK GDPR)
- Ability to spot issues and assess risk appropriately for a start-up environment
- Personal Attributes: Integrity, commercial mindset, curiosity, pragmatic approach, strong attention to detail
