Marketing Manager Retail

Yassir is seeking an experienced Retail Marketing Manager to oversee the marketing of their supermarket chain in Algiers, Algeria. The role focuses on driving traffic, boosting sales, and retaining customers by implementing marketing strategies in-store. The manager will be responsible for designing and optimizing marketing actions, managing promotional campaigns, and contributing to the supermarket chain's value proposition. They are looking for someone passionate about retail and digital marketing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Commerce, Management or equivalent.
• Proven experience (minimum 3 to 5 years) in in-house marketing, retail, large distribution or FMCG.
• Field experience is essential: you understand the challenges of a point of sale and the client expectations.
• Solid mastery of in-store marketing levers: sales animation, point of sale, merchandising, promotions, displays...
• Fluent in data analysis: monitoring KPIs, reporting, ROI, market research.
• Excellent ability to manage cross-functional projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong sense of commerce and client orientation.
• Creative, proactive and idea generator.
