DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to set up and develop DevOps practices and processes for pds-software. The ideal candidate has experience in designing and implementing infrastructures in the DevOps context, knowledge of automation tools, and programming skills in languages like Python, Bash, or Java.

Requirements

• Completed education as an IT specialist for computer science (m/w/d), study of computer science or comparable qualification.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructures in the DevOps context.
• In-depth knowledge of automating deployment processes and using suitable tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
• First practical experience with cloud services, containerization, infrastructure as code, and monitoring tools.
• Programming knowledge in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Programming knowledge in an object-oriented language like C#,.NET, or Java.
• Knowledge of version control with SVN and GIT.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving competence, and a structured working style.
• Strong communication skills, team skills, and self-initiative.
• You speak German at least at C1 level.
