CNC Woodshop Designer / Programmer

CNC Woodshop Designer / Programmer position at a custom millwork and cabinetry manufacturer in Montana. Hands-on woodworking experience and CNC programming skills required. Competitive hourly rate and benefits offered.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on woodworking background with experience building custom cabinetry, doors, or architectural millwork
• Deep understanding of cabinetry construction methods, joinery, materials, and production workflow
• Minimum 2 years of CNC programming experience beyond basic machine operation
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on CAD and CAM design experience in a manufacturing or woodshop environment
• Ability to produce accurate, production-ready drawings that reduce errors, delays, and rework
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a small shop environment where accountability and teamwork are essential
