As a Growth Science Manager, Consumer Marketing at Yelp, you will harness rigorous analytics, strategic partnership, and operational execution to fuel Yelp’s next phase of user growth. This high-impact role combines deep channel and user analysis, OKR ownership, funnel optimization, and creative data mining of Yelp’s vast data sets to accelerate scalable, predictable growth.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in high-impact analytics, marketing analytics, or business intelligence roles, ideally within B2C or marketplace environments.
- Deep expertise in marketing measurement, user funnel analytics, and advanced data analysis (strong SQL and Excel required; familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker etc. and proficiency in Python a plus).
- Proven experience integrating AI/ML tools into data analysis, reporting, or marketing automation workflows.
- Strong business and product intuition, and the ability to synthesize metrics and trends into clear recommendations.
- Experience with experiment design, A/B testing, and rapid test iteration.
- Collaborative, resourceful, and solutions-oriented approach with a builder’s mindset.
- Excellent communicator, verbal and written. Skilled at translating complex analyses into actionable insights for all audiences.
- Intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to stay ahead on AI, analytics trends, and evolving marketing technology.
- Adept Problem Solver: Proven ability to break down ambiguous and complex problems into manageable components, identifying root causes and developing innovative, data-driven solutions.
