Job Description
YMC is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to support key client relationships and projects for the Energy, Transmission and Distribution group. The Project Controls Specialist will be responsible for scheduling activities and planning, supporting all aspects of scheduling throughout the project life cycle, and establishing and maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls, scheduling, and cost tracking, preferably within the utility or infrastructure sectors
- Strong proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and Microsoft Office applications
- Solid understanding of project lifecycle phases, WBS development, and earned value management
- Familiarity with contract terms and their impact on schedule and deliverables
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly to stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
