Job Description
YMCA of Columbia-Willamette is seeking enthusiastic coaches to facilitate youth basketball programs for the Beaverton Hoop YMCA. Coaches will travel within Oregon and Washington for team tournaments and create a fun and safe environment for athletes. The YMCA has a mission-driven organization and a commitment to building skills and confidence in young people.
Requirements
- Arrive prior to program start to set up and prepare court
- Attentive and engaging with each player
- Establish positive relationships with players and parents
- Supervise children on a regular basis
- Clear and prompt communication
- CPR and First Aid certifications or ability to acquire certifications within 30 days of employment
