Lifeguard - West Park YMCA

Join our team as a Lifeguard at the West Park YMCA. Our mission is to provide quality, safe, and healthy programs and services in our community. As a Lifeguard, you will create a safe and positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals.

Requirements

• Maintain current CPR, First Aid, and other required YMCA certifications
• Report to work on time and with appropriate safety equipment
• Ensure safety of all participants in the aquatics area
• Adhere to Blood borne Pathogen standards and complete annual training
• Document incidents and notify supervisor
• Be visibly involved with members, volunteers, and staff
• Test and document water quality
• Monitor chlorine, PH levels, and track water temperature hourly
• Conduct regular sanitation of equipment and assigned areas
