Job Description
The South YMCA is seeking a Part-Time Lifeguard to maintain a safe swimming environment in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas. Lifeguards will respond to emergencies, ensure safety, and assist with swim instruction, while upholding YMCA policies and traditions. The YMCA values inclusivity and welcomes all individuals.
Requirements
- Maintain constant observation of the pool area.
- Ensure safety by checking for hazardous conditions and ensuring safety equipment is used.
- Respond to emergency situations and administer First Aid.
- Maintain a clean environment.
- Perform rescue and fitness drills regularly.
- Physically perform all skills required of a lifeguard.
