Job Description
This part-time, non-exempt position is for a Lead Swim Team Coach, responsible for providing instruction and coaching to program participants in a YMCA setting. The role involves designing training plans, supervising swimmers, enforcing team policies, and ensuring participant safety. The YMCA values inclusivity and offers a supportive environment.
Requirements
- Act as the lead coach for a specific group (13&up, age group (12&under)).
- Ensures safety by communicating and enforcing pool rules.
- Maintain accurate records of swimmers' evaluations.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians.
