Join us as a CREW Unit Stew! We are seeking two CREW Program Unit Lead Stewards: one female and one male. Together, you'll guide 16-year-old and 17-year-old CREW staff members through their first camp positions, helping them transition from the Camp Leadership Program (CLP) to active camp staff roles.
Requirements
- Helps plan, organize, and execute program activities
- Assists with camper check-in and check-out
- Assists in supervision of campers and oversees the success the program
- Ensures that campers are taught skills and, when required, teach activities.
- Encourages growth in spirit, mind, and body and positive character development in all campers and staff
- Ensures the safety, health, and inclusion of all campers
- Oversees the maintenance and cleanliness of program ares for campers and staff
- Dedication to job, camp participants and the YMCA cause.
Benefits
- Starting Pay $400 per week, plus room & board
- Additional pay for specialized certifications (ie; Lifeguard, ropes and more)
