Job Description
The YMCA of Superior California is seeking a full-time leader for a group of children. This role involves supervising children, promoting a positive environment, and ensuring staff and volunteer well-being. Responsibilities include program planning, staff supervision, communication with families, and maintaining a clean and organized facility.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Current state approved first-aid certification
- Current state approved community CPR certification
- TB test by the Manitou method
- 12 or more college quarter credits in early childhood/child development, or equivalent education
- Experience in working with children the same age as those to be supervised
- Knowledge of culturally relevant and developmentally appropriate practices
