Behavior Specialist job opening at the YMCA of Greater Rochester, assisting campers with extra needs and implementing staff training.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years or older and possess a high school diploma or GED
- At least three years’ course completion of bachelor’s degree in education, special education, or childhood development
- Experience working with children who have special medical, social/emotional, or physical needs
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Must be organized and be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively with the camp staff
- Current certification in Standard First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer required
