Summer Camp 1 on 1 Counselor

The One-on-One Summer Camp Counselor will supervise a child with special needs and diverse abilities enrolled in the YMCA's Summer Camp Program. The position is a seasonal job, lasting from late May to mid-August, with a 6-7 hour daily shift, 25-40 hours per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work well with a diverse group of children, parents, co-workers, and adults
• Experience working with children ages 5 to 13 years old preferably, children with special needs/diverse abilities
• CPR/First Aid certification or obtain within 30 days of hire
