Job Description
The Tennis Instructor will be responsible for maintaining a safe and positive environment for members and guests at the Y. They will supervise tennis activities, assist in classes, provide equipment checks, and ensure the tennis center is in working order. A strong emphasis is placed on the role's values, culture, and the individuals who work at the Y.
Requirements
- YMCA COMPETENCIES (LEADER/TEAM LEADER): Mission Advancement, Collaboration, Operational Effectiveness, and Personal Growth
- USTA QuickStart qualified
- CPR/First Aid certification or obtain within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills
