AV Design Architect

Zachry Group is seeking an Audio Visual Design Architect to join their home office in San Antonio, TX. The role involves planning, optimizing, evaluating technology, managing hardware and systems, ensuring compliance, and delivering technical solutions for audio-visual needs in various events, training, and demonstrations. The architect will also oversee technical setup, maintenance, and support.

Requirements

• Performs high-level equipment planning, design, and optimization.
• Evaluates and recommends new products, maintains knowledge of emerging technologies.
• Evaluates current and emerging technology and works with equipment vendors.
• Translates business requirements into audio/visual or process designs.
• Plans and recommends hardware, systems management software and architecture.
• Approves and modifies audio-visual design and architecture.
• Works closely with internal customers, vendors, other technology employees, and audio-visual technicians.
