Technical Lead (m/w/d)

ZDF Digital is seeking a Technical Lead (m/w/d) to provide technical leadership and be the main contact for software developers within a specialist team. The role involves managing software and data architecture, supporting team member development, advising clients, and translating technical requirements into concepts. The position offers a hybrid work model with mobile office options.

Requirements

• Completed a degree in computer science, data science, statistics or a comparable qualification.
• At least five years of professional experience in software development.
• Experience with Go and Rust.
• Familiarity with Python and data frameworks such as pandas, numpy and scikit-learn.
• Experience in planning and implementing microservice architectures.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience using SQL and various relational and NoSQL databases.
• Ideally, experience with hyperscalers such as GCP or AWS.
• Proficiency in using common MS Office applications.
• Very good German and good English skills in word and writing.
