The mine engineer II is responsible for developing and implementing mining plans, monitoring operations, and ensuring safety and environmental protection. This role involves working in a hybrid environment within a central office and satellite locations, including collaborative spaces, in Phoenix, Arizona. The position requires a strong understanding of mining engineering principles, and communication skills to collaborate with geologists and other engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mining or Geological Engineering or Master's degree in Mining or Geological Engineering
- Three (3) years of related experience in Engineering OR 2 years with a Master's degree
- Knowledge of Mining Engineering principles
- Ability to research and analyze information
- Skilled in managing Engineering projects
- Effective communication skills
- Safety awareness and practices
- Knowledge of one-plus (1+) Underground Mining method
