Machine Learning Research Engineer

Zendar is looking for a Machine Learning Research Engineer to join their Paris office to build a next-generation perception stack for reliable autonomy at scale. The successful candidate will design, own, and build the perception stack, combining vision and radar data, and work with a global team of experts in sensing and perception.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing ML systems, with demonstrated ownership of research-to-production outcomes
• Deep learning expertise in perception, specifically transformer-based architectures, temporal modeling, and multi-modal learning
• Training mastery in training large models from scratch on large-scale datasets
• Engineering proficiency in Python and a major deep learning framework (PyTorch or TensorFlow)
• Strategic thinking to lead architectural discussions and set realistic milestones
