Job Description
We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, engineering, and managing digital products and experiences for high-growth companies. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will work on conceptualizing, designing, engineering, marketing, and managing digital products and experiences for high-growth companies looking to disrupt through innovation and velocity.
Requirements
- 7+ years of industry experience with 5 years of relevant experience
- 5+ years of Unix/Linux system administration experience
- At least 3 years' experience in supporting and maintaining on-prem production-grade environment in Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Astronomer
- At least 2 years' experience in supporting and maintaining production-grade environment in Terraform or similar IAC tool
- At least 2 years' experience in supporting and maintaining production-grade environment in Google Cloud (Foundations and Managed services like PSC, Interconnect, Pub Sub, Cloud Run, Memory store, etc.)
- At least 2 years' experience in supporting and maintaining production-grade environment in deploying COTS apps in K8 environments like OpenShift or GKE
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Shell Scripts, Python/Java)
- Cluster management, configurations, upgrades, and migrations on Red Hat Linux 8 in virtual machines
- Leading big infra migrations programs from on-prem to on-prem, on-prem to Public and Hybrid clouds
- Extensive experience in Linux performance monitoring by using system tools, security setup, troubleshooting and performance tuning as necessary to ensure optimum performance, patching of Linux servers on regular schedule
- Eager to learn new technologies in a short time span
- Experience in change management, Incident management, RFC, Problem management & RCA
- Experience in automation to increase efficiency
- Optimize and streamline troubleshooting and debugging efforts by applying expertise across the infra and app domain
- Working knowledge of monitoring tools
