Software Engineer Intern - Summer 2026

Zinnia is a software engineering firm simplifying the insurance buying, selling, and administration process. They are looking for a Front-End Software Engineer Intern to join their team working on their greenfield Open Insurance UI and UX. The role involves collaborating with colleagues in the Digital Experience team, building responsive web experiences, and contributing to a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field (or completing a coding bootcamp)
• Strong problem-solving ability and familiarity with Node.js and TypeScript
• Excellent implementation skills with experience building semantic, responsive, and accessible web experiences
• Fast learner who picks up new technologies quickly
• Ability to work productively in a collaborative team environment
• Practical knowledge of implementing and connecting to RESTful APIs and Authentication services (Auth0)
