Senior Rust Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a product while also influencing its architecture and technical direction. This role involves taking ownership of critical features, ensuring reliability and scalability, and mentoring junior engineers. The position requires a proactive and self-driven individual with strong collaboration and communication skills.

Requirements

• Background in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with significant Rust experience.
• Strong expertise with Rust tooling: build systems, package managers, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to develop mission-critical features and navigate large, complex codebases.
• Experience conducting and receiving code reviews, with focus on high-quality, maintainable code.
• Comfortable taking ownership of features end-to-end: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in Git and GitHub workflows.
• Familiarity with agile development processes, sprint planning, and backlog management.
• Proactive, self-driven, and detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Habit of writing thorough unit and integration tests.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
