Job Description
Zopa is a new bank that has disrupted the finance industry by prioritizing customer needs. They are seeking a Database Engineer to join a team responsible for managing databases in the cloud. This role involves maintaining system performance, data integrity, and security, and requires proactive problem-solving and a willingness to learn new technologies.
Requirements
- Cloud IaaS and PaaS knowledge and experience with AWS services (RDS, EC2, IAM, S3, DMS, CloudWatch, Lambda)
- Knowledge and experience managing Aurora PostgreSQL, SQL Server and MySQL databases
- Ability to write and execute SQL scripts in Production
- Willingness to learn about latest cloud & AI technologies
- Consistent high level of service delivery
- Ability to prioritise projects and tasks
